Blake Mycoskie is an American entrepreneur who has given speeches on success, dealing with failures and other business-related topics. Mycoskie attended Southern Methodist University. He is best known for his work as founder of TOMS, which is a profitable business that provides children in need with shoes.
This entrepreneur’s first business was a laundry pick-up service he began in college. While this venture was a success, Mycoskie moved on to other things and applied what he learned from that business to other fields. Mycoskie also founded a billboard company for a number of years, but eventually sold it.
Mycoskie views failures as opportunities to learn and grow in terms of business. Failures, he believes, eventually lead to successes.
