The bold Mika Brzezinski is an American television host who was born in New York City. She began her journalism career as an assistant at ABC’s World News This Morning after graduating from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. During her early career, she worked as a co-anchor for MSNBC afternoon show Homepage as well as a principal “Ground Zero” reporter for CBS. She was broadcasting live from the scene when the South Tower collapsed. Brzezinski also filed occasional reports for NBC Nightly News before becoming the co-host for Morning Joe.
Throughout her career on Morning Joe she protested trivial journalism and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. Brzezinski is also an author of two books. A memoir, All Things at Once, and Knowing Your Value: Women, Money and Getting What You’re Worth which tells a personal story and discusses women and financial negotiations.
